Our Work.

The Brief.

The business was founded in 2015 as TS Plant Sales (NE) Ltd. After ten years of trading, shifting markets and a change in personal direction saw James Taylor become sole owner, and in November 2025 the company rebranded to NorthEdge Machinery Sales. The brief was clear from the client’s own messaging: this was a rebrand, not a relaunch. The new identity needed to carry forward ten years of reputation, dealer relationships, and industry awards, while giving the business a stronger, more distinctive name and mark to grow the next chapter under, alongside consistent photography of their used equipment stock to match.

Our Approach.

We developed an emblem built from an “N” and “E” monogram, rendered in a bold, hand-drawn line style that gives the mark texture and presence rather than a flat, corporate feel. The tri-colour palette of black, red, and yellow was chosen to stand out on-site and on machinery, where visibility and durability matter as much as visual impact. This was paired with a clean, modern wordmark, “NorthEdge”, with “MACHINERY SALES” set beneath in a lighter, spaced-out style to keep the full company name clear without competing with the emblem.

Because trust and continuity were central to the brief, we made sure the “formerly TS Plant Sales (NE) Ltd” link was built into the rollout from day one, most visibly on the new website itself, so existing customers, suppliers, and partners could make the connection immediately rather than wondering who the new name belonged to.

Alongside the identity, we photographed NorthEdge’s used machinery stock, from excavators and dumpers to telehandlers and rollers, giving every listing a clean, consistent look across the new website. With stock turning over regularly and each machine needing to be photographed and listed quickly, this meant establishing a repeatable approach the team could rely on for every new arrival, ensuring used equipment presented with the same credibility as the new machinery from their dealer brands.

Results.

The rebrand gave NorthEdge Machinery Sales a bolder, more memorable identity that works as well on a website and business card as it does on livery, workwear, and equipment out on-site. Ten years of trading history and industry recognition carried through cleanly into the new name, and the “rebranded, not replaced” message has helped keep customer relationships intact through the transition. Combined with consistent used machinery photography, the new site now presents stock with the same professionalism as the brand itself, giving buyers confidence at every listing.
